Ros Atkins on… Djokovic in immigration detention

World number one men’s tennis player Novak Djokovic is in immigration detention in Melbourne. Instead of defending his Australian Open title, he may be deported from the country.

His visa to enter Australia was revoked amid a growing backlash over the exemption he was given to allow him to compete despite not being fully vaccinated.
