Ukraine: BBC Ukrainian journalist – 'My home has been bombed'

During an interview on BBC News, a BBC Ukrainian journalist viewed pictures of her family home, which was devastated overnight in Kyiv.

“This building is my home,” Olga Malchevska told presenter Karin Giannone on set in London.

“I can’t believe what I am seeing is where I used to live,” she added.

While on air, she heard from her mother, who along with other family members, is safe.
