We’d like to learn more about how employers are monitoring and evaluating worker activity.
This can take many forms: little colored circles to show availability status, measurements of keystrokes or mouse clicks, screenshots and screen recordings, or weekly reports on “idle” versus “productive” time. And those are only a few examples.
If you’re familiar with any of these systems, we’d appreciate your help.
Your input may help shape our reporting, but we won’t use your name or identifying information without your permission and we may contact you to hear more. If you’d prefer a more secure means of communication, you can send your responses (and any records, images or other information) to nytimes.com/tips.
