Scientists Urge China: Replace Faltering Covid Vaccines

Scientists urge China to look for alternative vaccines in order to combat its Omicron virus, reports The Financial Times.

Professor. Peter Pitts. These products are not permitted for sale in West, where vaccines have been shown to be the most effective tool to move COVID-19 from a deadly pandemic into a mild epidemic.

Research suggests that China’s Sinovac jab should be enhanced with a more powerful shot such as the mRNA vaccines from Germany’s BioNTech or Modernaof America.

Many researchers believe that China’s Sinopharm jab will be a major obstacle to Omicron.
